Chelsea and Manchester United find out what Bayern Munich have to say about chase for Robert Lewandowski

Chelsea are reportedly chasing after Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski but the club’s president has weighed in on the striker leaving the club in the coming transfer window.

The 29-year old forward is one of the most sought after in the world after his exploits in German football. He is undoubtedly one of the best strikers in world football after consistently hitting new milestones in the German Bundesliga for Bayern and previously Borussia Dortmund.

But Chelsea and Manchester United decided to bring in to England, in a battle that could involve Real Madrid as well according to Metro, who are understood to be monitoring Lewandowski’s situation at the Allianz Arena.

However, with the reports intensifying, Bayern president granted an interview with German magazine Kicker. The former Bavarian says his side are ready to fight any club that chases after the Polish international.

Real Madrid are ready to part ways with Karim Benzema in the coming season, and Lewandowski fits the bill of the striker that can make it at the Santiago Bernabeu, while at Chelsea Alvaro Morata’s struggles means the Blues may bring in another striker to support him and Olivier Giroud.
