Borussia Dortmund ready to spend €80m on 13-goal Chelsea striker this summer

Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata has attracted interest from Germany despite failing to impress in his first season in England, with reports saying the sum of  €80 million could be spent on him in the coming weeks.

Sport quotes Bild as saying Borussia Dortmund are ready to stamp out a staggering  €80 million for the services of Morata who has failed to shine at Stamford Bridge since signing from Real Madrid last summer.

The 25-year old striker is one of the most impressive young strikers on the planet but time is not on his side to shine and get among the best scorers. His time at Chelsea has not been the most productive with his profligacy in front of goal. He has scored only 13 goals all season for the club in all competitions, making his future bleak this summer.

Reports from Italy, captured in a report by AS says Morata is ready to rejoin Juventus on loan for two years before signing permanently in 2020, having spent two years at before signing for Real Madrid in 2016.

Dortmund however are ready for to pay for his services permanently and believe they can churn out good displays out of him after their experiment with Michy Batshuayi who scored 10 goals in 14 appearances in his short loan spell this season.
