If Antonio Conte leaves Chelsea in 48 hours, top Spanish manager will replace him

Chelsea are expected to part ways with manager Antonio Conte and reports this week have said the Italian will leave in the next few hours. The latest from Daily Express say Chelsea will hire Luis Enrique as next manager.

After less than a week of winning the FA Cup, manager Conte will leave his post according to the Sun as the Blues hierarchy hope to rekindle their fear factor in the league and Champions League.

It was a less than impressive season with last season’s champions failing to qualify for the Champions League while finishing 30 points behind winners Manchester City. The only silver lining in the season with the FA Cup triumph.

The report by the Daily Express also says Chelsea have agreed to pay the reported £9m compensation to Conte to leave and pave way for the next manager, most likely Enrique.

Chelsea have also been linked with Sarri as per the Guardian, although no signals are coming out of the club, rumors are rife that there would be a managerial change this summer to begin a turnaround in the club’s fortunes next season.
