Alvaro Morata attracts top club from La Liga to relace outgoing world class striker

Alvaro Morata and the transfer rumor mill will not go separate ways until either Chelsea or the striker step in to commit one to each other.

Fresh reports from Italy say via TalkSport, Atletico Madrid are considering making a bid for him to replace Antoinne Greizmann, who is bound for Barcelona according to Sport 360.

Morata has endured a difficult 12 months, failing to match the ambitions of Chelsea after signing for them last summer. The 25-year old striker has scored 15 goals for Chelsea in all competitions, with 13 of those goals coming in the Premier League. In what has been a disappointing campaign, Morata scored only three goals in 2018 to mark his first season at Chelsea.

Reports from Italy, captured by the Sun said Juventus were interested in bringing him back to the club after a two year absence, but the Turin side refuted the reports.

Now TuttoSport say Chelsea would receive a bid from Diego Simeone’s side as they want to replace Greizmann and Fernando Torres and see the young forward as an ideal candidate.
