Sky Sports’s Debate show had an episode with Craig Bellamy and former Liverpool man Steve McMahon discussing the PFA player of the year, and they weren’t happy with the choice of Chelsea man Marcos Alonso at left back.
Both of them agreed that Alonso should not have been in the team. Bellamy had Ben Davies of Spurs as his choice, while McMahon had Andrew Robertson of Liverpool.
The goals and assists Alonso has provided this season clearly didn’t count much for them.
