Chelsea are desperate to beef up their squad next season, and if that means sacrificing one of their biggest stars to attract two Real Madrid players, they will, according to Don Balon in Spain.

The Blues have not been at their best this season, slumping to fifth position in the standings and exiting the Champions League in the round of 16.

Now they want to add to their squad and according to reports in Spain, Chelsea are proposing a swap deal to Real Madrid that will see Hazard move to the Santiago Bernabeu and in return, Gareth Bale and Dani Ceballos come to London.

It is unclear what value the swap deal will hold, but it’s quite clear the Stamford Bridge outfit are willing and ready to improve their squad for next season.

At Real, both players mentioned in the story are struggling to get game time at under Zinedine Zidane this season and may be ready for a move in order not to stagnate their careers.
