One main condition Chelsea have to meet to sign Nice midfielder Jean Michael Seri

Chelsea’s summer transfer arrangements are under threat as there is a high uncertainty over who is taking Antonio Conte’s spot next season. Club officials had a meeting over a list of candidates who might replace the Italian manager ahead of the upcoming transfer window, according to Daily Mail, but that may be slowing the negotiations to land top summer targets.

It is reported that several targets are unwilling to commit to the Blues until it is fully known who will take charge as manager of the team. Conte is almost out of Stamford Bridge, having had a sour relationship with the board, however his possible exit out from the team hasn’t prevented Chelsea from chasing potential transfers.

But the club is likely to miss out one  of these next summer if they don’t act fast with Conte’s situation.

Jean Michael Seri is on a list of players the Blues are ready to secure, and are willing to seal the deal with a £35 million bid for the Nice midfielder in the coming window, to support N’Golo Kante’s efforts in midfield.

But understandably, Seri is concerned about goings on upstairs at the Bridge.
