Chelsea have been linked with Luis Enrique heavily over the last few weeks, and those rumours have seen Blues moaning all over the internet.
If fans don’t want recent treble winner Enrique at the club, imagine how they feel about these latest rumours.
The internet is awash with the latest reported target on the Blues’ wishlist: Laurent Blanc.
Blanc’s most recent spell was at PSG, where he managed to win the league – hardly a challenge in France – and not much else.
His less than impressive CV is uninspiring, and the reaction to the rumours has hardly been positive either.
In fact, it gives the impression that these rumours have been leaked by the club just so that appointing Enrique ends up being a more popular decision once fans are aware of the other options.
Of course that’s just a conspiracy theory – and would require a level of forward planning that the current management structure seems incapable of implementing.
