Chelsea make decision on the future of Alvaro Morata amid return to Juventus rumors

Juventus plan to move in full force on Chelsea in the next few months as reports say they will be in for Alvaro Morata next summer, but the Blues are desperate to keep hold of their star.

Morata has been largely inconsistent this season, scoring in one game and then going missing on the score sheet for another long spell. He has not been the player he was at the start of the season, and some reports in England have it that Antonio Conte’s side will cash in on him in the coming transfer window.

However, the Telegraph now reports that despite the incoming bids for him from Juventus, Chelsea will fight to keep hold of their young striker. Morata has 15 goals this season and has assisted his teammates for a goal six times, in a very poor season, where he has missed several clear cut chances, mostly in one-on-one situations.

The Sun reported earlier that if the price was right, Juventus were willing to bring their former forward in, but that seems impossible now as Chelsea hope not to repeat the mistakes of seeing the back Kevin De Bruyne and Mohamed Salah too soon, as they perform admirably in the Premier League this season.
