Chelsea find out opponents in blockbuster pre-season friendlies schedule

Chelsea will be involved in next summer’s International Champions Cup alongside several top European clubs as the Blues prepare to conquer England again after this season’s disaster.

The Blues have been pitted to against Sevilla, Inter Milan and Arsenal in the tough pre-season games scheduled from July to August. The ICC tournament will begin just five days after the World Cup which would limit the number of stars in the competitions, if clubs see their players advance to the latter stages of the World Cup.

Chelsea will begin their tournament on July 28 with a clash against La Liga giants Sevilla who knocked Manchester United out in the Champions League this season in the last 16. They will then move on to face Inter on August 1 before taking on Premier League rivals Arsenal on August 4.

All of Chelsea’s games will be in Europe which is a great way to minimize fatigue levels rising after a possibly grueling summer of serious football action at the World Cup.

Other clubs like Manchester United, Barcelona and Real Madrid face off each other in the United States of America in the ICC while Bayern Munich, PSG and Atletico Madrid travel to Singapore for their games.
