Antonio Rudiger makes comments that seems to prove rather than kill talk of feud with Conte

Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger has moved to quash talks of a feud with manager Antonio Conte after he was dropped by the Italian manager in their clash with Southampton last Saturday.

The central defender has been an integral figure of the Blues this season, taking the place of Gary Cahill on the left of last season’s champions defense. The Germany international has been one of Conte’s most trusted allies despite being part of a troubling campaign that sees Chelsea lie fifth on the standings.

One of the disappointing results Chelsea have endured this season was the home draw with West Ham United at Stamford Bridge a few weeks ago.

Rudiger after the game seemed to question the Italian’s tactics when he said they drop deep after taking the lead against their London rivals. That reportedly, did not go well with Conte who took immediate action by sitting Rudiger out of their clash with the Saints last Saturday.

But Rudiger is adamant he and his boss are fine despite his interview with Germany TV show Das aktuelle Sportstudio via Sports Mole, “I have no idea. I am fully fit” pours more fuel in the talk of troubles at the club.
