Alvaro Morata speaks out after missing golden chance against Burnley

Chelsea are without doubt one of the best sides in the Premier League and after a season with mixed feelings and results as this, some memories will never fade out, especially Alvaro Morata’s misses.

The striker was visibly angry after he was substituted in the second half by Antonio Conte. One of the major talking points in the game was his golden chance after being put through on goal by N’Golo Kante who had done very fine work to dispossess Burnely off the ball and laying a beautiful pass in the path of Morata. The striker run the entire Burnley half, before taking time to execute his shot.

To everyone in the stadium’s surprise and particularly to the dismay of Chelsea supporters, Morata missed marginally to the right bottom corner of the post.

His reaction after the substitution, moments after missing the chance was an angry one. He threw his hand in the air while aiming jabs at Burnley fans who mocked him. But now apologizes through a tweet after the game.
