Chelsea’s Pedro insists all the club’s players are willing and ready to fight for the rest of the season to win back glory for the team.
The Blues have encountered series of defeats this season, latterly the loss to Barcelona in the Champions League round of 16, but bounced back to victory against Leicester City in the FA Cup Quarter Final on Sunday.
The Spain international has admitted the win has boosted their hope of achieving a final season objective of winning a trophy and making the last four in the league standings, although currently they are lying fifth with only eight leagues games remaining.
“It’s a very difficult situation for us, but we are still fighting for the top four and the FA Cup. We have one-two months left in the season and all the players have to give the maximum.
There is a good atmosphere in the changing room to change this situation and to fight until the end for our targets. This is the way for us. This win gives us a good moment. It has come at a very important moment in the season and will help us go for the FA Cup and the top four. It’s a good chance for us to finish the season well.”

The West London outfit have the opportunity to make the FA Cup final for a second successive year as they play against struggling Premier League side Southampton in the semis.
Boss Conte has given his players some time off, although some will be on international duty this week anyway as the World Cup approaches.
