Chelsea were torn apart by Barcelona in the Champions league round of 16 second leg clash at the Camp Nou after a quick opener by Lionel Messi settled nerves for the home side who went on to win the game by 3-0.
The Catalonians looked in good spirits and took their chances well unlike Chelsea who over two legs, had been poor in front of goal.
The Blues were set up by Antonio Conte nicely to play football against one of the most dominating sides in football history. They took the game to Barcelona at times during the game and were by far ready to attack unlike previous games between these two sides.
That may have been their downfall but key to their success in holding onto the ball and taking the game to the La Liga giants were Willian and N’Golo Kante.
Their contribution to Chelsea’s play was masterclass and praiseworthy.
