Thibaut Courtois demands Real Madrid answers

Chelsea stopper Thibaut Courtois has sent word to Real Madrid to make their final decision whether they are choosing him or Manchester United’s David de Gea.

The Belgium stopper has been a top target of Los Blancos as well as David de Gea but Real are still contemplating who they should select as the replacement for Keylor Navas next season.

The club is expected to make a major reshuffle in their squad as several players will be kicked out. Florentino Perez, club president is looking to sign new players to rejuvenate the team.

Goalkeeper Courtois is said to be eager to exit Stamford Bridge to move to the Spanish capital where his family resides, and where he also played for Atletico Madrid for three years, although he has denied those rumors.

According to Diario Gol via the Daily Star, Courtois is running out of patience and would want to know Real’s decision immediately.

The report has it that club chief Florentino Perez has selected De Gea and has asked club captain Sergio Ramos to go seal the deal for his move.
