Predicted lineup: Antonio Conte to hand out surprise Premier League debut

Brazil contingent train together

Antonio Conte has more difficult decisions to make today over what team to pick to take on a Crystal Palace side who have made things very difficult for top opposition in recent games.

At the back, assuming everyone is fit it will be the same four that have come to own the spots: Thibaut Courtois with Andreas Christensen, Antonio Rudiger and Cesar Azpilicueta ahead of him.

In midfield N’Golo Kante is reportedly fit to return after his scare last week, while alongside him the manager may pick Danny Drinkwater again to add some solidity if he is going to play a striker.

Out wide, we may see some changes. Emerson Palmieri is in line for his first Premier League start to see what he can offer down the left, while Victor Moses will presumably continue to line up on the right.

That just leaves the wide positions. While Conte loves Pedro, he will likely pick Eden Hazard and Willian just on the basis of form.

Olivier Giroud did well in his two starts and was unlucky not to play in the two big games recently. In this game where the Blues will be on the attack he’s certain to return.
