Manchester United seriously ready to make £60m offer for Chelsea’s most in-form forward

Manchester United are ready to move in for Chelsea’s most in form forward, Willian, next summer after Jose Mourinho sanctioned a £60m deal.

There has always been transfer talks around Willian and his links with Man United next summer after he fell out with Antonio Conte at the beginning of the season.

Since last season, Willian has been relegated to the bench with Conte preferring Eden Hazard and Pedro flanking the main striker, Diego Costa before this season, Alvaro Morata.

However Willian has come into his own lately, scoring crucial goals for the Blues and lifting them up in games they may have lost easily.

He scored against Man United at Old Trafford in a dazzling display but had before stuck against Barcelona in the Champions League. The Sun reports Jose Mourinho has kept an eye on the winger he brought to Chelsea in 2014, and wants to reunite with him at Man United next summer.

The Sun quotes a source at Old Trafford saying Mourinho even attempted signing Willian last summer.

“Jose is still interested in him. The club had a sniff last year but Matic was the only possibility. He does not have long left on his contract. The boss is a huge fan of his, he is always pull of praise. God knows where this leaves the rest of the wide players at the club but it cannot be good for them.
