Gerard Pique tells Barcelona to beat Real Madrid in signing Chelsea star

Gerard Pique has demanded Barcelona to sign Chelsea star Marcos Alonso amid the high interest from Real Madrid.

The defender has put up spectacular performances constantly in the Premier League for the past two years. He became a central player under Antonio Conte in his debut season and helped the Blues achieve the enviable Premier League champions title.

The 27-year old who plays as a left wing back in Conte ‘s three-at-the-back formation is the first defender with seven goals to his name with three assists and has been noticed by two of the biggest clubs in the football world.

Both Real Madrid and Barcelona are eyeing the signature of the former Fiorentina star according to Don Balon via  Daily Star but Gerard Pique has told his club officials to arrest Real’s bid for him and sign him to improve their squad, after he received his first national team call up, in Spain’s international friendlies this month.
