Dario Gol are not the best source of transfer stories from Spain due to their constant sensational transfer rumors, but this one connecting Eden Hazard to Real Madrid with a fresh twist may have some sense of semblance.
The report by Diario Gol on Monday says Chelsea would love to have Marco Asensio in their squad should Hazard leave next summer.
The Blues are said to be interested in Asensio and consider him a long term replacement for the Belgium international whose dream is to play at the Santiago Bernabeu since he broke unto the European scene in France’s Lille.
That means a swap deal should be in place for the transfer to go through and with Chelsea seemingly ready to let it go through, the onus lies on Real to accept to let Asensio leave for Chelsea.
Game time has been scarce for Asensio at Real under Zinedine Zidane this season and exiting in the summer might seem a smart move.
