Eden Hazard made to sweat on Real Madrid dream move as La Liga giants choose Premier League rival forward as top target

Chelsea forward Eden Hazard will learn later in the summer that he is no longer the top priority for Real Madrid after the exploits of Mohamed Salah this season.

Real are always in for the best players every transfer window, and with the sudden emergence of Mo Salah this season, he has become their top target. Salah has scored 36 goals in all competitions, inching closer to the all time best scoring feat of any Liverpool forward, when Ian Rush scored 40 in a single season.

With Real struggling for majority of this season, exiting the Copa Del Rey early, and dropping way behind Barcelona in the title race, the Los Blancos are looking to beef up their attacking options next summer. Although Cristiano Ronaldo has scored a whopping number of goals this year, his late entry into the top scorers chart has raised eyebrows over his dwindling form and Real want alternatives.

According to the Sun, Salah has become the favorite of Real president Florentino Perez.

The Blues are not prepared to lose Hazard and this will be welcome news for them, but not so much for the Belgium international who has always dreamed of playing for Real.
