Chelsea willing to do business with Real Madrid for Eden Hazard only if another top forward is involved in swap deal

Real Madrid’s Marco Asensio has emerged Chelsea’s top target as owner Roman Abramovich is ready to secure the attacking midfielder by trading off top scorer Eden Hazard to the Los Blancos to secure the funds for the switch according to a report by the Daily Star.

The former Real Mallorca player pulled off a spectacular performance, in Real’s recent game against Paris Saint Germain at the Santiago Bernabeu that even outweighed Neymar’s, getting positive reviews from fans and pundits alike and therefore raising interest from top clubs in Europe.

His displays in the famous white shirt though have been brilliant since the start of last season becoming one of the club’s most prized assets.

Despite, having a poor standing in La Liga games trailing leaders Barcelona by 15 points, Real are hoping to win the Champions League trophy which will cover up more for their Li Liga disappointment.

Reports say, after this season, one of Real’s biggest headaches will be which of their stars they will let go to create space for Hazard, if they manage to sign him, and it looks likely now that it could be Asensio.
