Alvaro Morata was growing increasingly unpopular with Chelsea fans as a starter because of his lack of goals, and less popular as a player because of his tendency to go down easily under physical contact.
Now he’s getting in our hair for another reason – his increasingly insane tendency to get booked.
The less he scored the more he got angry with referees, and he’s now got 10 bookings for the season.
That tenth booking should really have been accompanied by an eleventh, as you an see in the clip below he knocked the linesman’s flag from his hand yesterday and was lucky to escape sanction for that.
Morata, on a yellow (which was earned in idiotic fashion), knocks the linesman's flag out of his hand. incredibly stupid move. lucky boy not to be off. pic.twitter.com/Bf9vT11iWQ

With all that said, the fact that Olivier Giroud started yesterday, and the fact that Conte is likely to know now he must play a striker, means that oddly Morata is favourite to start in midweek at the Nou Camp.
Could this be his big chance to redeem his spiralling season?
