Chelsea ready to pounce for Man United star after fall out with Jose Mourinho

Chelsea are getting themselves ready to make a first offer for Manchester United defender Luke Shaw after cracks reappeared in his relationship with manager Jose Mourinho.

The left full back was chased by Chelsea before he decided on Man United, but after the departure of Louis Van Gaal he was given the chance to work under Mourinho following the Portuguese’s long term admiration of him while Chelsea manager.

However, fast forward two years of playing under the Portuguese and the pair can hardly look eye to eye. He was recently pulled out of the Man United FA Cup quarter final clash with Brighton and Hove Albion and to make matters worse, was publicly criticized by his manager for not doing anything right.

That according to the Daily Mail, has caused further friction in their relationship that will surely end next summer, be it with Mourinho leaving or Shaw moving first.

With Mourinho extending his deal at the club only recently, he may be the party staying, and seeing the back of Shaw who has attracted interest from London, with Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur willing to take him in.

Chelsea are seriously monitoring his situation and are willing to table a bid next summer for his services.
