Chelsea face tough call over FA Cup youngsters

Chelsea go in to today’s game knowing that it’s the last trophy they can fight for this season. While they don’t want to jeopardise their attempts to win back fourth place from Liverpool, the fact that they are no longer in any other competitions means that fixture congestion is no longer such an issue.

Antonio Conte has played youngsters all in this this competition though, with youngsters like Ethan Ampadu getting their first starts, along with new signings like Emerson Palmieri, who debuted in the last round.

Leicester are a tough opponent, and it’s time for Conte to show his hand. Will he go with an all out first XI, or will there be some concessions to rotation?

We will find out in an hour when the teams are announced, but a blend of youth and experience seems the most likely route for the Chelsea boss to take.
