“When I want to change clubs, I will” – Eden Hazard warns Chelsea over personal transfer decision

Chelsea forward Eden Hazard has issued a warning to his side over his decision on a potential transfer next summer, insisting he will switch clubs when he wants to.

The Belgium international has had a lot of rumors surrounding him, particularly the move to Real Madrid next summer. With a contract lying in wait for him to append his signature to, Hazard has brought these rumors on himself.

Real are said to be very interested in bringing him on board with their La Liga and Champions League defense, both in shambles.

But Real are not the only European force interested in him. Paris Saint Germain are also thought to be considering bringing the former Lille attacker in despite their wide array of talents in forward positions.

Hazard says, if it’s time to leave Stamford Bridge, he will know and decide.

“I still have two years left on my contract. I feel very good over here. The fans love me, my family enjoys life over here. We will see.

In football anything can happen. But in football nothing can happen too. Every year they talk about Real or PSG. And when I want to change clubs, I will. But at the moment I’m good where I am.”

Hazard has in the past insisted he is happy at Chelsea but with the bumper new contract yet to be signed, he may still decide on playing elsewhere.

Should he move to Real Madrid, Hazard could become a very important player at the Santiago Bernabeu with the idea that he would be the replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo at the club.
