Stats reveals Eden Hazard is by far best dribbler in England and third best in Europe

Chelsea’s hero on Monday night against West Bromwich Albion was Eden Hazard. The Forward powered two goals past Alan Pardew’s back line but it wasn’t just the goals that has seen fans endeared to him, his dribbling has contributed a fair bit to it.

The Belgium international was one of the best performers on the night and tore apart the Baggies with good link up plays and solid instinctive shots.

According to Squawka, Hazard is now Europe’s third best forward in the dribbling bracket. Only Lionel Messi and Neymar lead Hazard, in the bracket of opposition beaters.

Hazard has managed a staggering 114 successful dribbles against opposition he has faced, while Lionel Messi has amassed 133 and Messi with 126. That figure makes Hazard the best dribbler in the Premier League and the second, per Squawka’s report is not even close.

Crystal Palace’s Wilfred Zaha has become the second with 83 successful take-ons in the top flight.
