“We are going to try to fight against it” – Antonio Conte promises Chelsea will return to glory days

Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has swore to battle off all rumors over his future at Stamford Bridge “until the end” after the Blues resumed normalcy in their win over West Brom on Monday.

The Blues kept their feet on winning ground against West Brom as they secured a 3-0 win, that also enhanced Antonio Conte’s reputation at the Bridge.

The players pulled off a spectacular performance with Eden Hazard finding the back of the net twice, topping it up with a goal from Victor Moses which brought the much awaited victory for the team. Alvaro Morata and Olivier Giroud who gave out an impressive debut helped clear the disappointment in the defeat against Watford and Bournemouth.

The Blues have a big month ahead as they clashes with Hull City in the FA Cup on Friday in the fifth round and another crucial clash with Barcelona.

Antonio Conte, knowing what lies ahead, has promised Blues fans his side will return to their usual dominant form.

“We are getting used to the speculation. My players know very well what we have to do. Until the end we continue to live with this speculation so, for sure, we are going to try to fight against it. There is only one way: to win and play good football.

The fans have showed me great support because I think they are reading the rumours about me, so I must thank them for that. It means that, in our 18 months together, they understand my passion and my will to defend these colours, this shirt, this badge. To know that people appreciate my work here in Chelsea is important. The players and I are trying to do our best to give them the best satisfaction. Our will is always there.”
