Chelsea set to miss out on promising Premier League youngster

Richarlison hasn’t rubbish a possible move to Chelsea as the club are considering to secure the striker to Stamford Bridge next summer with Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal also likely to join the race in landing the Under-20 Brazil International but he insists his whole attention is on Watford.

The Brazilian International moved to Watford on a £11.5 million deal from Fluminense and has been in great form at the Vicarage Road. Watford’s Chief Executive Scott Duxbury revealed last November that Richarlison is a great asset to the club and he wouldn’t be sold during the January transfers season.

When quizzed about his links to the Blues, he claimed anything is possible in the future.

“In the future you never know but I leave all things like that up to my agents. At the moment my head is completely in Watford. I am not thinking about anything else and I want to help the team get as far as possible in the League. That is my objective, that is my focus and nothing else.

I want to play in this country for as long as possible. It is a great League and has been a great experience for me. I want to improve and playing in England can help me do that.”

Richarlison has five goals to his name and made four assists in the Premier League, as he seem to be enjoying his time at Vicarage road and doesn’t seem interested in changing of clubs. The 20-year-old is on a five-year deal and a £20,000 weekly contract with Watford.
