Chelsea are leading the way to sign Bundesliga top talent Leon Bailey after the hotshot has been earmarked as one of the sure movers in the coming summer.
The Blues have been linked with Bailey for the past two transfer windows, and with several top clubs chasing after his signature, the sure will be more competition for his services next summer.
At the season’s end, Manchester United will join the race as well as Bayern Munich according to a report by Bleacher Report. Liverpool are also serious admirers of the former Genk winger and will like to add him to their ranks next summer, to beef up what is an already stellar attack, of Sadio Mane, Roberto Firminho and Mohamed Salah.
Chelsea however, are reportedly closer to sealing his deal, after beginning talks for him in the winter transfer window for a fee around £22 million. But Bayer Leverkusen are believed to be playing the waiting game, as they feel the inflated transfer fees could see them pocket more in the next transfer window.
