Antonio Conte has confessed that Pedro and possibly even Morata deserved their yellow cards for diving, although Willian did not.
It was hard to understand what he meant exactly, given how worked up he was about the game’s questionable refereeing, but he certainly was angry about the second card for Morata, which was for dissent. “You must pay great attention”, the Chelsea boss mused, as he has done in countless situations before today.
