The two players who can steer Chelsea to Leicester conquest

Chelsea take on Leicester City in the Premier League next weekend with only possible result in mind, to win without question.

The form of the Blues in recent weeks have been nothing to write home about especially considering the fact that Antonio Conte’s side have failed to score in their last two games while drawing their last three.

The entertaining 2-2 draw at Arsenal in the Premier League preceded two stalemates against Norwich City in the FA Cup in third round and another against the Gunners in the Carabao Cup semi final first leg.

As Conte prepares his side to face Leicester at Stamford Bridge, the goal scoring problem will be something he will very much like to put behind them. But from where? The forwards will be tasked to focus mainly in scoring but their push will come from behind them and N’Golo Kante and Danny Drinkwater will provide a good midfield combo against their former side.

Having played with the Foxes in the past, the two midfielders will offer some inside info for Conte, if he needs it, and their presence on the pitch can help unlock the sometimes stubborn Foxes defense. Their passes, interceptions ability to shoot from behind the box, although sparingly, will come in handy for Chelsea on Saturday but Chelsea’s Italian manager might decide to go with Tiemoue Bakayoko along with Kante. As to why that is, we don’t know.
