Chelsea are braced to receiving bids for their key players especially Eden Hazard and N’Golo Kante next summer with fresh reports now saying the latter remains a target for Paris Saint Germain.
The French Ligue 1 side have not given up hopes of signing Kante but are not prioritizing him over other targets.
PSG want a midfielder next summer to replace the ageing Thiago Motta who is on the wrong side of 35 years. The Ligue 1 leaders this season, have also shortlisted Monaco midfielder Fabinho and Benfica’s Danilo Pereira as potential replacements for Motta.
Jonathan Johnson reports for ESPN that PSG prefer Fabinho and Pereira as both are more technical players than Kante, despite the raw energy and athleticism of the Frenchman.
Kante has however become a very important player for Antonio Conte’s side after great displays in midfield making him one of the best individuals in the game today. He has won several individual awards since his breakthrough at Leicester two seasons ago.
