Credible sources in Germany reveal Chelsea have made first contact with Arturo Vidal

Chelsea are keen on adding to their squad this transfer window and some of their targets have already been approached over a possible move this month.

Jake Lambourne of the Sun quotes La Cuarta in Chile as saying Antonio Conte has made first contact with the Chile international ahead of a move. The duo worked together at Juventus before the Italian manager moved to coach the Italy national team.

The 30-year old has been linked to Chelsea in recent weeks after the Blues’s dismal performances in key games this season. especially unproductive efforts from summer signing Tiemoue Bakayoko who has been mostly targeted by Blues fans.

Vidal’s days at Bayern Munich seem numbered with Bild reporting Chelsea have made initial contact with the club over a possible signing. Any deal though, will happen in the summer as Bayern will only sign a replacement at the end of the season, with Schalke 04 midfielder Leon Goretzka more likely to arrive at the Allianz Arena.

German journalist Manuel Veth also revaled on Twitter that Chelsea will sign Vidal next summer after Goretzka completes his free transfer to Bayern.
