Chelsea on the verge of completing outgoing transfer despite huge weaknesses up front

Chelsea are already on the verge of completing the outgoing transfer of Michy Batshuayi on loan to Sevilla, according to reports in the Spanish press.

Sport Witness have translated the article which claims that the forward’s deal to move to Spain is almost tied up.

Most importantly one would imagine, is for Chelsea to secure a replacement first. Even with Batshuayi around they are short up front, so they’re certainly not going to let him go until they’ve got at least one more body in the building.

For Batshuayi it could be a good move, playing more regularly away from the spotlight somewhere where he can go back to developing his game.

Sevilla have some talented strikers of their own, so he won’t be guaranteed a game there either, but he will at least get the chance to make a fresh start away from what is becoming  bit of a nightmare for him at Stamford Bridge.
