Terrible news for Chelsea, star forward holds up contract talks despite proposal to make him Blues’ highest paid player ever

Chelsea fans have received some terrible news concerning their star forward Eden Hazard with a report by the Times saying he is stalling negotiations over a new deal amid interest from Real Madrid.

The Premier League champions are believed to be ready to stamp out £300,000-a-week as Hazard’s new wage he he agrees to it, which will effectively make him the club’s highest ever paid player in their history.

However, Hazard’s head is being turned by the lure of Real who are said to be interested in acquiring his services next summer, following their unremarkable season, like the last couple of seasons. The La Liga champions have continuously showed interest in the Belgian play maker since he broke unto the scene in the French Ligue 1.

With an eye for another Belgium international, Chelsea’s goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois, Hazard may be convinced even more playing alongside his countryman in Madrid.
