Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has confirmed only David Luiz will be missing Chelsea’s game against Southampton having not recovered from his knee injury.
The center back has been out of action for the last few weeks following a knee injury he picked up in training.
However his absence has not been solely that as the Brazilian endured a freezing out of the Chelsea first team by Conte after he questioned the tactician’s decisions in Chelsea 3-0 defeat to AS Roma in the Champions League.
He was replaced by Andreas Christensen in the Chelsea defense and the young Dane has slotted in well at teh back for Conte, putting in great displays against Premier League opposition, particularly at Stamford Bridge against Manchester United.
Now Conte confirms Christensen is set to start in his eleventh Premier League game as Luiz misses out again.
