Chelsea vs Brighton – Confirmed Line-ups

The small Christmas Break is now over and Chelsea are set to return to Premier League action, as they host Brighton Hove & Albion at Stamford Bridge on today’s vital Boxing Day clash.

Following a frustrating 0-0 draw away at Goodison Park last Saturday, Chelsea will be even more determined to get the full three points from today’s game. Antonio Conte has thus named a strong side despite the team’s hectic schedule ahead of New Year’s Eve.

The Italian has made as many as THREE changes to his previous team selection, as Alvaro Morata, Cesc Fabregas and Gary Cahill all step back in to the first eleven.

Morata was suspended over our last Premier League clash due to his fifth yellow card of the season in Chelsea’s 2-1 win over AFC Bournemouth. The Spaniard scored a late winner to take the Blues to League Cup semis and received a booking for celebrating the goal with the match-ball.

But the good news is that he’s back now, and will be linking up with Eden Hazard in the Chelsea attack, as Conte has switched his system from 3-4-3 to 3-5-2 for today’s clash.

Here are the confirmed line-ups for today’s game, with the kick-off at the Bridge in an hour’s time (15.00 GTM).
