Chelsea lead long line of suitors to land in-form goal scoring machine from Serbian league

Chelsea are leading the chase for Red Star Belgrade striker Richmond Boakye Yiadom as the Blues seek to beef up their front line with only Alvaro Morata, the trusted striker in the squad.

Michy Batshuayi has found life tough at Stamford Bridge since his arrival at the club in the summer of 2016 and is reportedly looking for a way out. The space created as back up for Morata will likely be filled by Boakye Yiadom who is set to subject to a bid from Chelsea in the winter transfer window.

According to Ghana Soccer Net in Ghana, the forward will be brought in by Conte, who signed him in his time at Juventus but sent him out on loan for more first team football experience, before leaving the Turin club for the Italian national team.

The Ghanaian striker has been stunning form lately scoring 41 goals in the 2017 calendar year while bagging in 23 goals in his last 28 goals. He has been equally impressive for Belgrade, helping them qualify into the knockout stages of the Europa League, placing second behind Arsenal in their group.
