Chelsea drawn against Norwich in FA Cup

Chelsea will begin their FA Cup run this season with a trip to Carrow Road to face Norwich.

Antonio Conte is likely to continue his policy of playing a heavily rotated side, and some youngsters like Charly Musonda will finally get another shot at a start.

Chelsea have a great record against the Canaries, and made a habit of putting a hatful of goals past them in recent Premier League encounters. Now mid-table in the Championship, it’s a good draw for the Londoners, even if they would rather be playing at home.

Conte’s men reached the final last year after beating Tottenham at Wembley in an exciting semi, but they were beaten by Arsenal after producing a flat performance on the big stage. They will be working hard to set that record straight this time around.

The Blues have already progressed to the quarter finals of the Carabao Cup, where they will face Bournemouth next week.
