Chelsea competing with Premier League giants for Barcelona wonderkids

Chelsea are one of the Premier League clubs chasing a clutch of Barcelona wonderkids, according to Spanish newspaper El Mundo Deportivo.

The paper claims that the English sides are preparing for a batch of the youngsters to turn 16 so that they will be old enough to make the move from the Catalan club.

Goalkeeper Ramon Vila, full back Joel Lopez, central midfielders Alex Rico and Nico Gonzalez, winger Robert Navarro and strikers Ansu Fati, Pablo Moreno and Jaume Jardi are the 15 year olds name checked by the papers as being targeted by Chelsea, Manchester United, Manchester City and Arsenal.

According to the paper, the English clubs are already preparing to offer the youngsters tours of their training facilities in an attempt to persuade the players and their parents that a move would be in their interest.

Arsenal successfully signed Cesc Fabregas and Hector Bellerin in the past, while United had great success poaching Gerard Pique.
