Willian risks Chelsea future by questioning young midfielder’s transfer out of the club

Willian has sent a message out to Antonio Conte and Chelsea’s decision making officials to return Ruben Loftus-Cheek from his loan spell at Crystal Palace.

Loftus-Cheek was sent out on loan after failing to break into the first team consistently, with only sparing introductions in cup games.

Since he left Stamford Bridge to the Selhurst Park, 21-year old has showed flashes of his ability in the Premier League and earned himself a call-up to the England national team.

He was considered too far behind the queue with N’Golo Kante, Tiemoue Bakayoko and Cesc Fabregas and with the arrival of Danny Drinkwater, leading to to think Chelsea do not have plans for the young English midfielder.

However, there seems to be those at the club who still think highly of Loftus-Cheek and one of them is Willian. According to the Brazilian winger, who spoke to the Metro Sport, Loftus-Cheek has the right attributes to play for Chelsea and not the Eagles.

I don’t know why he is at Crystal Palace now – he has to come back. A very good player. He is strong, he has quality. He has a great future.
