Ruben Loftus-Cheek was the talk of the nation for a while this week after a strong England debut against Germany.
The midfielder was all set up to follow that with a second start against Brazil, but he ended up being removed after half an hour with a back injury.
There was some fear that he might miss this weekend’s game, but he started against Everton yesterday and played exceptionally well.
He dominated from the right and was at the heart of everything positive Crystal Palace did.
