Victor Moses to return from hamstring injury

Antonio Conte has brought great news for the Blues fans ahead of Chelsea’s Premier League visit to West Bromwich this Saturday.

The Italian manager has confirmed that Victor Moses will return to action next week, with a comeback for today’s game still a bit too early for him.

The Nigerian international suffered a heavy blow to his hamstring in Chelsea’s Premier League loss against Crystal Palace already a month ago. He’s been sidelined ever since, missing a total of six games for the Blues, but thanks to some good rehabilitation work his comeback looks imminent.

“Moses is progressing well – I hope to see him back next week,” the Blues boss Conte said at yesterday’s pre-game press conference.

Despite missing today’s clash at the Hawthornes, Moses could be in contention to play against Qarabag FK on Wednesday night, with a Premier League visit to Liverpool also looming at the end of next week.
