Some exciting news reaching us is that Chelsea are one of three clubs Lionel Messi could sign for if he decides to end his Barcelona career next year.
The former World Player of the Year is considering three clubs he will play for if he fails to agree terms with Barcelona before the end of the season.
The 30-year old has been in negotiations with Barcelona chiefs but no agreement has been done yet, with the player growing increasingly frustrated with how the proceedings are unfolding.
According to Spanish football expert Eduardo Inda, as quoted by the Daily Star, the Argentina international has offers on the table and one of the few comes from Chelsea.
“A few months ago Messi was a little down and was thinking seriously before the World Cup in Russia to go to China. Despite this, his intention is to stay, although he has three offers in case he decides to leave the Barca team.
City, Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain all love him.”

This will surely create excitement among Chelsea fans who will be just happy being connected to the richly decorated football superstar but calm down already. It is common knowledge that Lionel Messi would like to retire at the Blaugrana.
His contract negotiation has delayed but there is little concern around Barcelona they might lose their star forward to a foreign club and with Manchester City in the picture, a club managed by Pep Guardiola who groomed Messi at Barcelona, Chelsea may have little chance to sign the Argentina maestro.
