The golden generation of the Belgium national team has some star names that shakes opposition to near death when mentioned. Talk of Kevin De Bruyne, Romelu Lukaku, Radja Naingollan, Dries Mertens, Vincent Kompany and Tottenham duo Jan Vertonghen and Toby Alderweireld.
However, look harder and you would realize that will not be the complete list of superstars to emerge in this era. Chelsea have a trio that adds gloss to these stellar names – Thibaut Courtois, Michy Batshuayi and Eden Hazard.
The latter has been one of their brightest stars beyond the Belgium borders and he has now become the country’s most prolific player in the UEFA Champions League.
According to Opta Johan on Twitter, Hazard’s eighth goal in the competition made him Belgium’s top scorer in the competition.

If Hazard keeps playing as he has in the last few games in Antonio Conte’s system, he will be sure to maintain his place at the top of highest scoring Belgians in the Champions League without fuss. Especially as Chelsea have booked their place in the next round.
