It’s the last thing Chelsea fans wanted to hear as they finally see their team building up some form, but Antonio Conte has been linked with other jobs once again.
This isn’t one it seems like we need to worry about, that’s some good news at least. The manager has been linked with the newly vacant Italian national team manager’s job – the very one he left to join Chelsea.
Speaking in Gazzetta dello Sport, Italian FC chief Carlo Tavecchio said that names like Max Allegri and Roberto Mancini, wheras Antonio Conte was “hot”.

There doesn’t really seem much of a chance that Conte would go now. Not only has he only just left that job, they also have missed out on the World Cup. So he would have nothing to do until qualification starts for the 2020 Euros.
It seems more likely that Tavecchio is trying to save his job – very much under threat at the moment – by hinting that he’s in conversation with the very best managers. And that includes Antonio Conte, luckily for us.
