Real Madrid find solution to end Chelsea’s Thibaut Courtois transfer dilemma

Thibaut Courtois has been an excellent goalkeeper for Chelsea since arriving from Atletico Madrid. The giant Belgian had giant shoes to fill in the form of club legend Petr Cech, but he’s kept the legacy of Czech going between the stick at Stamford Bridge.

He’s won two titles and put in countless vital performances to keep opposition teams at bay.

The one downside to his time at Chelsea has perhaps been the constant speculation linking him with a return to Spain.

The fact that Courtois speaks Spanish doesn’t help, as he’s able to constantly give interviews discussing how happy he was in Madrid. It means that the stories linking him to Atletico and Real Madrid never stop.

But that might be changing. Atleti have one of the world’s best keepers in Jan Oblak, and now Real Madrid may have found their long term solution. According to the IB Times, Los Blancos are chasing Athletic Bilbao goalkeeper Kepa to replace Keylor Navas.

We’re all in favour if it keeps them away from Thibaut.
