“It’s not just Morata and me” – Eden Hazard deflects recent high praise onto Chelsea teammates

Chelsea seem high on confidence at the moment. They pass the ball with so much fluidity and nothing stops them when they get into their high gear when attacking.

With Eden Hazard and Alvaro Morata being paired upfront, and linking up greatly to cause disaster in the defensive third of opponents, many have sang their praise and said they are the reason Chelsea are doing so well.

The Blues latest victory came at West Bromwich Albion, when Chelsea thrashed the Baggies 4-0. Morata got his ninth goal of the season while Hazard picked up a brace. So the duo’s praise got higher.

However, Hazard insists fans need to look at the entire team and they will see a collective effort in their recent purple patch.

“It’s not just [Morata] and me, it’s the whole team.

When you play with [Cesc] Fabregas, Alonso on the left and [Davide] Zappacosta on the right you can feel the confidence. Everyone played with the ball and made great movement.”

In Antonio Conte’s new 3-5-2 formation, Hazard has been one of the revolutionized players alongside Morata. Cesc Fabregas also looks to play with more freedom behind the two main attackers.
