Chelsea reverse manager curse and drag it back to 2-1 against West Brom

For once, Chelsea have turned the table om West Brom and got their manager sacked after dishing out a beating on Saturday.

Andre Villas-Boas and Roberto Di Matteo were sacked after bad results against the Baggies, but now it was Chelsea’s turn to take revenge.

For all that the Blues were excellent, it was clear that West Brom were a team listing and in serious need of management change. They were toothless in attack and unusually feeble in defence.

Conceding three first half goals is never a promising sign, and the Blues were really just toying with their opponents in the second half.

As Eden Hazard and his accomplices brought out the tricks and flicks in the second half, the boos and jeers from the crowd grew more and more intense, and it became pretty clear to anyone in the stadium that Tony Pulis’ position was untenable.

And with his sacking this morning, so it proved to be… it’s now 2-1 to the Midlands club in the manger sacking scorelines.
