Davide Zappacosta came in a little more under the radar than some of the other summer signings, but he’s now played a good amount, with the recent injury to Victor Moses allowing the Italian an extended run in the team.
Asked now we know a little more about him what they thought about him, Blues fans gave their opinion. It seems that the overall reaction to the signing of the Italian has been positive.

After more than 500 votes, 37% of respondents called him “good” and 39% “promising”, with 21% opting to say that they were undecided and only 3% calling him “bad” – considering about 5% of the poll’s respondents are probably trolls from other clubs, that’s some pretty good numbers.

It’s still almost certain that Victor Moses will reclaim the first choice role when he’s back, but hopefully Zappa has shown he can be a capable backup when called upon in the future, and may get even better as he settled at the club.
